Max Austin brings more than 20 years of mortgage lending experience to his role in business development through strategic client and partner relationships, technology innovation and other corporate initiatives. Max started in the mortgage industry in 2000 as an originator and has held positions including Senior Loan Officer, Construction Lending Manager, Mortgage Sales Trainer, Sales Performance Coordinator, and Senior Account Executive. He has worked for several lenders including MortgageSouth, Method Mortgage, and Synovus Bank. He also opened his own mortgage company in Alabama, Austin Mortgage Group, as a licensed mortgage broker.
Max is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, SC with a BA in Business Administration. He is licensed as a Mortgage Loan Officer through the NMLS, is involved with the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB), and is also a licensed REALTOR® in the state of Alabama (#93283).
